Why Shop for Insurance Online in the UK?

Buying Insurance Online

These days it is the thing to do, cut costs and save money. One of the expenses we all encounter is some form of insurance coverage and whether it’s for your vehicle or home, the necessity of proper insurance coverage is a fact of modern life.

Traditionally we shopped for insurance by going into a brick and mortar office and talking face to face with an insurance agent. The agent would take your information down and promise to call with a quote in the next few days or send it to you in the mail. It often took a week to get a confirmed quote for your insurance. Well, things have gotten a lot better with the advent of online insurance brokers that are capable of instant quotes and coverage.

You may be wondering what an online insurance brokerage does. In the simplest of terms, using the information you provide, they search for the best deal on the insurance you need. All that is required of you is to fill in your information on the online form and submit it. Then, the online brokers check all their providers and present you with the least costly insurance that completely satisfies your needs.

The role of online insurance broker is identical to the role of insurance agents in a brick and mortar office. They offer the customer the highest quality of coverage for the cheapest possible price without sacrificing high quality service for low price.

Online brokers are able to offer rates that are extremely competitive and generally less expensive than those of their office bound counterparts. Online insurance brokers do not have the high overhead costs associated with brick and mortar operations. It is the consumer that turns out to be the beneficiary of the lower costs of doing business for online insurance brokers in the form of lower insurance coverage rates.

No matter what type of insurance you are looking for, whether it is auto, van, motorcycle, minibus, limousine, chauffeur, home, HGV, travel, breakdown or motor trade, you will find it at very reasonable rates by using an online insurance broker service.

Not only do online insurance brokers offer lower rates but they offer immediate coverage, flexible payment schedules, high quality customer service, excellent claim service, legal expense coverage and they are available online 7 days a week. What brick and mortar insurance company can offer you services equal to that offered by online insurance brokers?

In the event you need to make a claim, you simply call and start your claim with a Claims Management representative whose goal is to make your claims experience the least distressing it can possibly be. Your online Claims Management representative will make sure that your repairs are done to high standards and also assure that any uninsured losses you may have suffered are recovered.

The reasons for shopping online for insurance in the UK are numerous, but the most obvious reason is the lower rates that result in great savings. In addition to saving money, customers are treated to great service, instant coverage and seven days per week availability. What’s not to love about that?

Free Yourself with Wireless Broadband

Wireless Broadband

There is nothing more frustrating than being tied to a wall when you want to use your broadband service. There is a way that you can free yourself from being stuck in one location in your home while trying to surf the net or work online. This feature is called wireless broadband and it is available through all of the internet service providers. It is very easy to get this service; however, there may be some additional equipment to purchase. Depending on your location, this equipment is relatively inexpensive and can be a great asset in your home.

Most homes today have more than one computer, and some, if not all of those computers are laptops. Wireless broadband service allows everyone in the household to be on the internet without having to be connected to a wired network. The system works by connecting your existing broadband service to a wireless router or “Wi-Fi” network. Once the service is connected to the wireless router, anyone with your wireless password can connect to the internet, no matter where they are in the home. This can be a great asset if you have more than one person needing to access the internet at the same time.

If you are looking for a new broadband service provider, it is always important to first compare broadband services against each other and if you want to take advantage of wireless service, you will also need to compare the ease in which you can “go wireless.” Some broadband companies make it much easier than others to hook to a wireless router. While there are always more advantages than disadvantages when it comes to wireless broadband service, it is important that you understand the range of your equipment. Your broadband service provider may be able to offer equipment that can help you if you encounter any “dead areas” in your home.

When you have wireless service it is always a good idea to test your broadband speed because this way you will always be able to have the fastest system possible while using your wireless network. Along with being able to find the right broadband service provider, many online broadband review websites offer broadband speed tests. This is also a good way to compare broadband deals. The broadband review websites will let you compare the different broadband deals that are offered so you can find the one that fits your needs the best.

All of the broadband service providers can give you wireless service; however, some are easier than others to install. Most wireless services will require you to purchase additional equipment, but the price is usually very minimal. The added convenience that wireless broadband service provides is worth any price that the extra equipment will cost and if there is more than one individual who needs to use the internet at the same time, then your wireless service will start to pay for itself immediately. Wireless broadband service is designed to make living your normal life that much more convenient because you will never be tied to a wall mounted phone jack again to be on the internet.

An Alternative to Hotels for the Business Traveler

An Alternative to Hotels for the Business Traveler

The number of business travelers increases steadily as businesses grow in size and scope, selling products all over the country and no longer just in their own communities. Meeting suppliers and customers face-to-face is a time-honored tradition and one that can keep companies more in touch with their business. In a world of increasing computerization and disconnection, the personal touch still sets world class businesses apart from their competitors.

If there’s one thing that business travelers universally complain about, it’s the accommodations on the road. Staying in cramped hotel rooms, drinking bottled water and eating peanuts out of the tiny room refrigerator, and washing clothes in the bathroom sink are common conditions that the frequent traveler has to face on a regular basis. Most meals are eaten at the hotel restaurant or the fast food joint down the block and, if they’re lucky, the room will have a chair so the guest doesn’t have to watch the network news sitting on the bed.

A new trend in business travel that is popping up all over the country is corporate housing, an alternative to hotel stays. Corporate housing works for short or extended stays for business meetings, conferences, or longer projects. Corporate housing can come in all different shapes and sizes, but its goal is to provide a more “homey” experience to the business traveler than a hotel room could offer.

One company on the forefront of this new trend is Wynne Residential Corporate Housing (wynnecorporatehousing.com). Wynne offers corporate housing across the country. Wynne’s accommodations are fully furnished apartments that provide a more relaxing and functional setting than a hotel room can offer. Rather than living out of their suitcase, business travelers have the use of fully-equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, and in many cases, full access to fitness centers and pools. The apartments are more spacious and luxurious than hotel rooms and can double as a “home” office while on the road.

Wynne’s customers are not only business travelers. Wynne offers vacation accommodation and housing for military and government employees who are on short-term assignments away from their home city. Those who are relocating to another city or another state frequently need short term housing while they wait for their new house to be built or to find one when they have been transferred at work.

The size and scope of Wynne’s corporate housing properties is a boon to those who are travelling from city to city. Wynne co-ordinates all of the move-ins and move-outs to give the customer one less thing to worry about. They look after the mail forwarding and the utilities hookups. They consolidate all of the housing expenses so that there is only one bill to pay every month.

Temporary corporate housing is a growing market with rental companies entering the ring every day. Wynne has the experience and the size to provide reliable housing services that companies both large and small depend on every day to take the sting out of being on the road.

Creating Extra Space for Your Business

Extra Space for Your Business

When you look around your office or other types of businesses, do you see too much stuff in not enough space? If the answer is yes, there are other options available than just finding a bigger office space. While some businesses would benefit from a larger work area, some would find it impractical to purchase this extra space. There is another type of solution that works for every situation and it comes in the form of self storage units. Self storage companies work hard to help businesses and individuals that have too much clutter organize their space by offering units of many different sizes and prices.

No matter what your storage needs, a self storage facility has the unit that will fit your individual situation and many locations to make it more convenient to have access to your excess belongings. There are many storage options available, from those that will work directly in your office to the ever popular self-storage companies. When it comes to self storage in Liverpool there are many locations to serve your businesses needs. There are so many different options available that it may become difficult to decide which facility is best for your business. If you are looking further out then there are several options for self storage in Warrington which benefit from proximity to Liverpool, but offer cheaper prices.

When it comes to choosing the right storage facility for your business, it is time to consult a self-storage review website. This type of website offers many tools to help you in your search for the facility that will fit your needs. There are also other tools, such as a storage unit calculator, that will allow you to purchase only the amount of space you will need, and that will save you money too. Along with the reviews and other tools, this type of website will also feature different sections to help inform you of other services and features that will make moving your belongings to your new storage unit much easier.

While the self-storage facility may have insurance on their property, this does not always mean that the insurance extends to your belongings. It is always a good idea to privately purchase self storage insurance that will cover the contents of your storage unit. This can save a lot of aggravation in the event of a theft or fire. While these occurrences are rare, it is always a good idea to have this extra protection available to you. This type of policy is usually very cost effective and has the potential of saving hundreds in the case of an incident with your storage unit.

It does not matter if you are a small business just starting out or one of the largest corporations in the country.  When it comes to too much clutter, a self-storage facility may be the answer to this dilemma.  With the wide range of unit sizes and the different features that each facility offers, there is always one that will fit your individual situation. The key is to find which facility will offer you the space you need for the best price possible. All of this information can be found on a self-storage review website.

Lens Flare: How to Avoid it, and When to Let it Slide

Lens Flare

Anyone who has spent a fair amount of time tinkering in Photoshop or other modern image editing programs has likely come across an interesting feature called “lens flare,” which creates a bright circle of light with various accompanying distortions on the surface of the image. While some web designers, artists, and photographers may have the occasional use for lens flare, allowing for the occasional artistic streak or creative license, it has traditionally been a scourge on the efforts of photography, and there is a far greater interest in understanding how to get rid of the effect than to create it. Lens flair typically plagues photographers in bright and sunny areas, causing headaches for creative talents from Austin Texas to the desert sands of the Sahara. But even frustrated Austin TX photographers can learn how to decrease the risk of lens flair destroying an image or adding its personal notions of brightness and distortion.

As you might have guessed, lens flare is the result of a direct light source such as the sun interfering with the camera’s lens. At certain angles, light can enter the camera and do a kind of mambo dance during photography, resulting in an inordinate amount of light reaching the film, culminating in any number of splotches and rings. In some instances, lens flare can appear as a film over the surface of the image, brightening the entire scene. Because of the nature of lens flare, the most straightforward and simple way of avoiding it is to get some sort of object between your camera’s lens and the sun (or other bright light source). There are a number of ways to accomplish this task, ranging from the quick and inexpensive to the more professionally nuanced.

One of the easiest methods for avoiding lens flare is having a friend or helpful bystander place themselves in front of the sun, serving as a kind of shield for the camera lens. Though not always practical, this method is certainly adjustable, and beats having to shade the lens with the photographer’s own hand, which can lead to technically tricky manual maneuvers. When possible, a photographer can also stand with their back to the sun, creating their own shady spot for the camera. In certain conditions, this can alter the intention for the photograph, causing a different kind or quality of light to result.

More reliable methods for avoiding lens flare point to making a custom lens hood, or purchasing a professional model. Professional lens hoods come in various shapes, including flower-edged and straight, and can be extremely useful in bright conditions. Though they tend to thwart any attempts at wide-angle photography, lens hoods can eliminate the vast majority of lens flare issues. Photographers on a budget can put together their own hoods, typically out of a durable yet flexible material such as card or paperboard and a reflective finish such as aluminum foil. Letting lens flare do its thing can be fine for certain images; ultimately, the choice is up to the artist.
Just as an SEO specialist is lost without proper keyword tools in the world of search engine optimization
, a photographer or web design specialist making custom images is at risk for wasted efforts without a lens flare prevention plan.

Enhancing Riverfront Property

  • Raised Boardwalks
  • Wetland Walkways and Boardwalks
  • Marine Boat Rails Systems
  • Lake Docks
  • Elevated Walkways
  • Custom Docks and Piers
  • Track Systems
  • Pier Systems
  • Walkways
  • Outdoor Walkways
  • Imagine walking along, enjoying the sunset, feeling the warm sea breeze and the water spray.  This can easily be reality if you enhance the beauty and the value of your property with a boat walkway.  Have you ever wished that you could keep your boat on your property and in the water, ready to use, but thought it was too expensive?  Have you just wanted to make the water on your property more accessible for visitors and family alike?  A custom boat walkway can be the perfect solution to both of these scenarios.

When choosing your boat walkway, it is important to keep in mind several things.  For one, the boat walkway should be ADA approved.  The Americans with Disabilities Act is a wide-ranging civil rights law that prevents discrimination of people based on disability.  An ADA approved walkway would be made of slip-resistant material and include ramps that provide access to those in wheelchairs.  Galvanized steel, steel that has been coated in zinc to prevent corrosion, is the ideal material that you should use to build the walkway.  Depending on what you will be moving in and out of your boat and the amount of people you plan on entertaining, careful attention should be given to the load that the boat walkway can withstand.

For a long time, most lumber was treated with chromate copper arsenate.  However, it was later realized that since this lumber exposes users to arsenic, a known carcinogen linked to cancer, and the use of chromate copper arsenate was discontinued to treat lumber for residential use.  Unfortunately, there are still several places that use this potentially dangerous lumber.  In order to reduce the risk of exposing your family and friends to these harmful carcinogens, it is a good idea to choose a boat walkway built of arsenic-free decking material.

Another option in the decking for your walkway is composite decking.  Composite decking tends to require less maintenance than wood decking.  Composite decking is frequently made from PVC, meaning that it is less prone to scratches, mildew and stain.  Nobody wants to spend a lot of time in the maintenance of their boat walkway, so composite decking is an excellent option.  Also, because they are made of PVC, it is easy to get the decking colored the exact shade you desire.  Flame resistance is another desirable quality in composite decking that may make you want to consider it over wood decking.

Adding a boat walkway will help to increase the value of your already valuable property.  A well-built boat walkway will last a very long time, likely the life of your house and beyond.  An independent study found that galvanized structural steel, the best material for a boat walkway, will last about 53 years if it is submerged in water and over 100 years if it is kept out of water.  A boat walkway can definitely add functionality to the area around the water on your property.  It is unquestionably an encouragement to do more entertaining around the water.  Choosing the right manufacturer for your boat walkway will ensure that you, your family and your friends will be able to enjoy it for a long time.

Scales, Scales, and More Scales

Scales, Scales, and More Scales

It is no wonder that Americans are obsessed with weight with all the scales with which we come into contact in a typical day. From the time we wake up in the morning, until the time we go to bed at night, we are seeing scales, scales, scales.

Let’s take a typical day. The first thing we do is wake up and head to the bathroom for our morning hygiene routine. There, sitting on the floor waiting is the bathroom scale. We step onto it hoping to see a number that is lower than yesterday’s or at the very least isn’t any higher. We get dressed and then head downstairs.

Into the kitchen we go, and gather the ingredients for a breakfast smoothy of yogurt and strawberries. We pull out the kitchen scale and measure out six ounces of strawberries before dropping them into the blender with the yogurt. After drinking our breakfast, we grab up the outgoing mail and head out the door.

While most of the mail can be placed in the mailbox, there’s one birthday card for Aunt Millie that is probably overweight for an ordinary letter stamp. It’s one of those oversized cards that plays a little song when you open it. Oh well, a quick stop at the post office on the way in to work will take care of that. The post office clerk drops the card onto a postal scale to calculate the correct amount of postage required. You hand him a dollar and pocket your change.

Then it’s on to work. The factory is filled with scales. In the warehouse there are counting scales that help the line feeders bring the correct number of components out to the assembly lines. At the end of the assembly line there’s another scale for quality control. It’s so accurate that the QC inspector can tell if something as small as the owner’s guide is missing from the carton of a home theater system. In the shipping department, there’s another scale to calculate shipping charges for the outgoing packages. There’s even a pallet scale for the forklift operators to weigh every pallet as it is put onto the tractor trailer trucks to make sure the truck doesn’t go over its weight limit.

At lunch time, there’s a scale at the cafeteria cash register station because you pay by the ounce for the salad bar. After lunch, a quick check in with the office Weight Watchers group requires everyone to hop on the nurse’s balance scales to track their weekly progress toward their weight goals. Right on target. It looks like the portion control diet that you are following, thanks to your new kitchen scale is actually working.

After work, you start packing for your vacation, taking great pains to make sure each suitcase won’t go over the weight limit on the airline’s luggage scale because you don’t want to pay the overweight fee. As you think about the number of scales you’ve seen that day, you hear your son practicing the scales on the piano in the next room.

Choosing the Phone Plan That is Right for You

Choosing a phone plane

Everyone needs something different from their cell phone plan. No one phone or calling plan is right for everyone. While one person might spend hours texting, another might never text at all. It’s important to choose a phone plan that is customized to include only the features you need. This will save you a lot of money in the long run. Today’s phone services come in a variety of prices with features to fit anyone. Before you select a phone and a calling plan, take some time to research the best deals available.

Begin by evaluating your needs. What will you use the phone for? Is it primarily for business or personal use? Perhaps you will use it for both. Will you be talking a lot or just in case of emergencies? Do you plan to take pictures with your phone? Would a video camera feature be helpful? Do you want a phone that plays music to replace your current MP3 player? Do you want a blackberry that can access the internet and important documents from work? All of these questions can impact the kind of phone you purchase and the plan you need.

If you plan to only use the phone for emergencies, you don’t need to pay for an expensive calling plan. Pay as you go phones offer you the security of a mobile phone without the huge phone bill. In fact, pay as you plans allow you to only pay for the minutes you use. The phones are available for a small upfront cost and then you pay monthly for the minutes you will need. There is no need to buy a package of minutes when you will rarely use them.

On the other hand, if you love to send text messages and use them frequently to stay in touch, you might want to consider a calling plan that includes unlimited texting capabilities. Instead of paying a fee for each text message you send, these plans will allow you to send as many text messages as you want for one flat fee per month. These plans are ideal for teenagers who love to stay in touch with friends through the popular text messaging.

If you are a talker by nature and will likely spend hours glued to your phone each day, then consider purchasing a calling plan that has unlimited calling minutes. Most companies offer free nights and weekends, but if you are planning to talk a lot during the day time hours, the minutes will add up to a pretty hefty phone bill. Plan ahead and purchase the unlimited plan if you think you will talk enough to need it.
Compare prices before you sign a contract to make sure you don’t pay too much for the services you need. Some companies offer rebates, or even special incentives, when you sign up for services. Don’t make a hasty decision. Use the internet to research the many options available. With dozens of cell phones to choose from, you can find the phone and the calling plan that is best suited to your needs.

Bingo Basics for Players Around the World

Bingo Around The World

Bingo is a fun little game that started in Italy in the fifteenth century.  While it started in Italy and then gradually spread throughout Europe and then eventually North America, it is still a sensation today.  People of all ages enjoy playing Bingo and benefit from its mind sharpening power.  Senior citizens play a fierce game of bingo and preschoolers play bingo to learn colors and shapes.  Anyone can enjoy a good game of bingo with the dozens of websites dedicated exclusively to bingo.  If you want to get started in the bingo world, there are a few things you need to know.

When playing bingo online, the rules are basically the same as an offline game.  You play with cards and markers, but you will use your mouse and keyboard, rather than tokens.  Playing bingo online has some great advantages that have put many bingo halls out of business in recent years.  Perhaps the most popular aspect is the fact that you can play with people from around the world.  Online bingo sites often provide chat rooms where you can talk with other players throughout the game.  As you size up the competition, you can also learn about the various cultures and lifestyles of the other players.

As you start your first online bingo game, you will receive a card.  Some cards are blank and you fill in twenty four of the twenty five spaces with the numbers of your choice.  The last space is a free space where you can employ a little strategy to get a leg up in the game.  Other sites randomly generate bingo cards rather than asking players to select their own numbers.

While bingo halls play with a bingo cage full of balls with the numbers you need to win, online numbers are called at random by the computer.  The number will pop up on the screen for you to mark on your card with the click of a mouse.  You will have to watch the screen carefully so you don’t miss a number that could make the crucial difference between victory and defeat.

Just like playing bingo in person, online bingo is a competition to see who can fill the predetermined spaces first.  Some bingo games only require you to fill in a line to win, while others call for the entire card to be full.  You will most likely be playing for a “Jackpot,” or points, or sometimes cash if you are playing on a site that pays the winners.

If you really want to become an online bingo aficionado, begin by visiting websites that offer free bingo games.  Brush up on the terminology and learn the strategies that will increase your chances of success.  Enjoy getting to know other players from around the world while you play the game.  As your game play improves, you can choose to move on to sites that pay out with real money and prizes.  Many of these sites require you to pay a fee to play though, so be careful not to spend money on a hobby that could be free.  Unless you are a serious bingo player, these sites should probably be avoided in exchange for the free options.

The Case for Expense Management

Author: Rob Peterson
Monday, June 1, 2009@ 6:33 PM

Case for Expense Management Given the long history of business application software use in the finance and HR functions, it’s curious that there are so many pockets of activity where organizations continue to rely on manual systems or home-grown programmes. It’s almost as if, having focused first and foremost on installing the core engines that manage their transactions, many businesses pause for breath and never get round to starting the next phases of their automation programmes.

Expense management software is a good example. Today, most organizations continue to rely on employees filling in spreadsheet templates to capture expense data. Many managers still sign off paper printouts – and even where expense forms are digitally approved, some rekeying is usually required within the accounts department, adding to the overall administrative overhead and increasing the opportunity for errors.

In principle, this is one area where the argument for automation should be a foregone conclusion. In practice, however, many organizations have held back from pushing through change, even when they accept that this isn’t the most efficient way to run a business process. If it’s looked at merely as an administrative burden, expense management simply joins a long list of other tactical automation projects vying for a share of the IT budget.

Ultimately, however, expense tracking is about far more than the quest for process efficiency. Automation brings tighter control to an area of expenditure that in many organizations is startlingly lax, especially when you take into account the high volume of transactions that are carried out to handle business travel and other non-PO items. It also gives organizations the management information they need to select preferred suppliers, negotiate discounts and ensure that employees purchase goods and services cost-effectively. Combined with the emergence of new forms of expense management that are both cheaper and less disruptive to implement, the business case becomes more compelling.

There are a number of different forms of expense management applications available today, but at heart they’re primarily designed to provide a centralised system that manages each aspect of the claim-to-payment process. The core capabilities include:

* Automating, centralising and streamlining the end-to-end process, from submission of expense claim, through approval and query resolution, to preparation of payroll data
* Increasing process control, reporting capability and policy enforcement to improve overall procurement efficiency. Where expenses management is provided online by a third party service partner, there may also be an opportunity to exploit the service provider’s aggregated buying power
* Improving initial data capture (for example, by allowing employees to enter data into a central system through a web browser or handheld device)
* Enhancing visibility into the end-to-end process for both employees and managers
* Capturing time data for analysis of billing and resource utilization

In the Mood?

In the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes” the character played by Kathy Bates tries to spice up her love life by meeting her husband at the door dressed in only Saran Wrap. Unfortunately for her character, he walks right by, pops a beer open and plops down in front of the TV to watch sports. Don’t let this sort of thing happen to you! Send the kids to grandmas, dim the lights, pour the wine and wait for your honey to walk in the door to find you waiting in the most fantastic lingerie available. Make his night (and yours) by shopping ahead and stocking up on lingerie for any mood or occasion.

Have fun shopping for your lingerie. For every personality, body type, mood and occasion, there is lingerie that is sensual, provocative, aggressive, elegant and fun. You can be a French maid complete with a tidy little hat and a very short skirt. If your guy was really into Pirates of the Caribbean you could dress in pirate lingerie replete with ruffles, fishnet, lace and great hats. For a special Christmas gift, why not wear a sexy Santa lingerie set? He would surely love to see his personal Santa in red velvet or satin. Sexy lingerie sets are always appropriate for any occasion or for no occasion at all.

If you are a leather sort of girl, why not wear leather lingerie? Leather is both classy and sensual. For a touch of class or a touch of rough ‘n tumble nothing beats the look of black leather. A leather bra, panties and bustier can be very feminine and very enticing. Grab a black leather garter and pull on thigh highs to finish the look of your leather skirt. Or skip the garter and stockings opting instead for a pair of stiletto heeled black leather boots to top off your black leather mini skirt.

Into vinyl or latex? Vinyl or latex lingerie is a great way to cover what you want covered and accent the rest. Learning Languages in Hong Kong With the introduction of the International Baccalaureate – IB syllabuses in Hong Kong by the ESF (English Schools Foundation) it is now a requirement that all students doing the IB diploma study two languages. Along side English, the languages which are most often studied are Mandarin, Cantonese, German, Italian, French and Spanish. ITS Tutorial School provides support in these languages for students undertaking the IB. Languages can be studied from beginner level or at a more advanced level.

For the introductory language student, the language can undertake as an IB Ab Initio subject. Only beginners may do language subjects at this level. The judgment is made on the basis of how many hours of that subject have previously been studied. The next option is to study the Language as a B option. This is where purely the language is studied and no literature component in that language is undertaken. The A2 option is for second language speakers who wish to study literature in the language they are undertaking. The final option is A1 Literature. This option is for first language speakers wishing to continue their studies in their native language. There is a large literature study component when studying a language as an A1. It should be noted that the student’s actual mother tongue is not necessarily taken into consideration when choosing making a decision about A1. For example, in Hong Kong, a number of students who might be mother tongue speakers of Cantonese actually study English as their A1 language.

Many students find the study of language very difficult. The tutors at ITS are native speakers and qualified in the languages that they are offering support in. Another popular language that is studied at ITS is Latin which is usually studied by more junior students. For many top English public schools basic Latin is a requirement for entrance into those institutions. There are a number of reasons to study Latin. The Latin tutor at recently wrote an article on this How is Latin useful in the Modern World? ()

ITS also runs language classes for people interested in learning a language just for fun. These classes can be one to one or in small groups. The school has found that a family group learning a language together is a very popular way of studying a new language. The family members can practice what they learn together. This also can be a good way of bringing families closer together and giving a common shared interest between parents and children.

ITS also provides counseling and advice for parents and others wishing to undertake language immersion holidays or study tours. ITS works through a variety of third party quality providers of these services throughout the world. There is no extra cost for booking these holidays/study tours through ITS. The school will provide independent advice to help people choose the best provider and package for their needs. More information can be found about these holidays here: Language immersion and holiday study programmes.

The ITS website is now available in both English and Chinese. For the Chinese language version of the website visit ITS?????????????????????????.
